Ripcord Digital, Inc. (“Ripcord Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit www.ripcorddigital.com (the “Site”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
This policy applies to information we collect on the Site; through email, text, and other electronic communications between you and the Site; and when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and services, if those applications or advertising include links to this policy.
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Information We Collect
We collect several types of information from and about visitors to our Site:
- Information you provide directly. When you fill out our Contact Us form, request a proposal, or otherwise correspond with us, we collect information such as your first and last name, email address, and the content of your message. We also collect information you provide if you call, email, or otherwise communicate with our team.
- Information collected automatically. As you navigate the Site, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and usage patterns, including your IP address, browser type, device identifiers, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and pages viewed.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to collect this information — see Section 3 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us for the following purposes:
- To respond to inquiries, provide requested information, and prepare proposals or estimates for our services
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our understanding of how visitors use it
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and advertising, including our own paid campaigns
- To communicate with you about our services, including follow-up on inquiries you submit
- For internal business purposes such as data analysis, audits, and fraud prevention
- To comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental request
3. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies
The Site uses the following tracking technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some Site functionality.
- Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to deploy and manage the tags described below. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal information, but the tags it fires may.
- Google Analytics. We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with the Site (pages visited, time on site, referral source, approximate geographic location). Google Analytics uses first-party cookies and reports aggregated, anonymized trends. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to build audiences for future campaigns. The Meta Pixel collects data such as pages visited and actions taken on the Site, which may be linked to your Facebook/Instagram profile. You can manage how Meta uses this data through your Facebook ad preferences.
- Other analytics or advertising cookies. We may periodically add or remove third-party tags (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads remarketing) through Google Tag Manager as our marketing needs evolve. This policy will be updated to reflect material changes.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information we collect as follows:
- Service providers. With vendors and service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting (WordPress/WP Engine), email delivery, customer relationship management, and analytics — under obligations to keep it confidential and use it only for the services provided to us.
- Advertising platforms. With platforms such as Google and Meta in connection with the tracking technologies described above, subject to those platforms’ own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety reasons. To comply with any court order, law, or legal process; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ripcord Digital, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through the Site for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to and follow up on inquiries — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
6. Your Privacy Choices & Rights
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA). Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, request deletion of that information, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (as those terms are defined by applicable law) — including opting out of cross-context behavioral advertising via tools like the Meta Pixel and Google Ads. We do not knowingly sell personal information for monetary consideration. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10.
- Other jurisdictions. If you are located outside the United States, please note the Site is operated from the United States and your information will be processed here. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, you may have additional rights (such as access, rectification, erasure, or portability) — contact us and we will address your request in accordance with applicable law.
- Opt out of communications. You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or by contacting us directly.
- Do Not Track. Our Site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
7. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including our clients’ sites and our social media pages (Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
